thin joint

On site there are two key considerations for fast, accurate and cost- effective build using Thin Joint:

  • mortar beds need to be spread to exactly the right depth and absolutely evenly.
  • perps need to be cut precisely and quickly.

muratechnic has addressed these two issues with the design, development and manufacture of practical equipment to speed Thin Joint build.

spreading mortar – the murascoop © saves time and money

Thin Joint blocks can be dry stacked vertically so it is only uneven mortar beds that can prevent a vertical build. Uneven or too much mortar will cause tilting.

Use the murascoop © and get an accurate build and use less mortar .

Simply fill the scoop and draw straight along the blocks. You get an even bed on which the block will level under its own weight – no runs, no waste .

True walls – faster build – less mortar
